Kisubi
Seminary brief
|
Kisubi
Seminary was founded in 1951 by the
Religious Order of the Missionaries
of Africa. Apart from providing high
quality education, Kisubi Seminary is
committed to enriching the lives of
the young people by giving them the
opportunity to learn things of value
aimed at improving their living conditions
and quality of life. |
While
the aim is to nurture vocations to the Priesthood,
the majority of the boys do not make it. However,
they abundantly gain from the richness of the
academic, spiritual, moral and human formation
in the school. A number of them have graduated
from various Universities in and outside Uganda
and now serve in different sectors of society
and the church.
Kisubi
Seminary enrollment is made up of a general
mixture of students. Students in Kisubi seminary
come from all regions of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania,
Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
